Message status meaning
The message status you can see in Sent items describes what happened to the message.
| Status | Description | Charged |

| Opted Out | The message recipient has opted out for this account. | No |
| Msisdn Invalid | Message recipient MSISDN (handset number) is invalid | Yes |
| Sender Id Invalid | The account does not have a sender id registered for sending in the recipient’s country and that country requires a sender id to be registered. | Yes |
| Message Part Count Exceeded | Message has too many message parts. | Yes |
| Destination Not Allowed | Destination is not allowed. Note: currently all destinations are allowed. | Yes |
| Landline Not Allowed | Cannot send to land lines. | Yes |
| Sending Limit Exceeded | Cannot send messages beyond daily and monthly limit (whichever comes first). Sending limits are configured in account settings. | No |
| Outside Business Hours | Cannot send marketing messages outside local business hours. Business hours are configured in account settings. | Yes |
| Within Quiet Hours | Message prevented as would breach Quiet Hours regulations – usually marketing messages overnight. | Yes |
| Disallowed Content | Content contains disallowed content (urls or words that are not ok to send) | Yes |
| Internal Error | Failure of the internal kind (e.g. some service down or some unexpected, unknown, untreated exception). | No |

| Message Dropped | Message dropped by platform. 2 potential reasons: – The message hit a Stop Processing directive in the routing rules – If somebody manually drops a message from the holding pen | Yes |
| Message Expired | Message expired by platform. Message was not supplied to network within validity period. | Yes |
