Sender restrictions when sending to France

Applies to: Customers sending to France and using an alphanumeric Sender ID with the operator Free Mobile.

From the 16th October, for all French destination marketing SMS traffic processed by FreeMobile, Sender ID’s will be replaced with a Short Code. If you would like your Sender ID to be retained, you’ll need to contact us with your account ID, the Sender ID you want to use and evidence of your use case.

If you are using an approved Sender ID and send any marketing SMS messages, you must add “STOP au 36608” to the message body. If you only send transaction traffic from your account no stop code is required but if you want to retain your Sender ID, please contact us.
